Loved the coverage in this article... it's worth checking out again, one day before the polls open.,,

My opponent seems to be confused... yesterday, she re-posted some of her endorsements.  I don't understand why she's so proud of some of them.  For example, House Speaker Thom Tillis, Senator Jeff Tarte and District 92 House Representative Charles Jeter are all on the record as showing their support for my opponent.

But as every TEACHER in CMS knows, these three men are part of the NC State Legislature that did NOT give out a raise for teachers this year (AGAIN), took away teacher tenure and removed the provision for additional pay for masters' degrees.

Why on earth would the current CMS BOE District One representative be aligning herself with this group of people?  These are the same people she's been bragging about the entire election season, as to having a "collaborative" relationship with.  I respectfully offer that her "relationship" with these folks has been nothing short of disastrous for the most important employees in our entire system... our teachers.

Our teachers deserve better "collaborative relationships" than this.  Vote MAST for CMS!

I am honored to have the support of Kaye McGarry, former CMS School Board At-Large Member 2003 - 2011.

"Christine Mast - District 1

FOR DISTRICT 1, I recommend CHRISTINE MAST. It is past due to elect CHRISTINE MAST to the School Board. She isknowledgeable and ready to serve her district well. Please refer to her website at www.ChristineMastforCMS.weebly.com. You can also email her at [email protected] or call her at 704.728.1554. CHRISTINE MAST's business experience as a CPA and Business Analyst will be invaluable in analyzing budgets and other data. She is also a CMS mom and an active volunteer.

These candidates are the true conservatives (both Republicans) who have solid values and common sense to make decisions that are best for all children in Charlotte and Mecklenburg County. They will tell the TRUTH and we can TRUST them with our vote on the School Board."

I am GRATEFUL NOT to have been endorsed by the Charlotte Observer. Based on this article, they seem to be content with the status quo. Apparently, if you question the bond package, or advocate for more effective localized control -- Mooresville Graded School District is a great example of excellence (which we could do if Dr. Morrison would empower his Learning Community Leaders), they don't want to hear about you. I stand behind my platform and will let the voters decide -- "more of the same" or a change to create an effective Strategic Plan and Bond package, and get the School Leadership Teams involved in the process, as mandated per State Statutes.

Here's my Candidate Profile, provided by Generation Nation's Student Candidate Guide.  Love that this group is helping to educate our young people on the voting process!

Wow. Look how the games have begun. "Davis said the donations... are not intended to buy votes or campaign support... Davis said his campaign gave to PTAs in 2009 as well, though his campaign reports from that year do not reflect that..." So are his 2009 campaign reports wrong, or did he misspeak?

Further, Eric Davis' campaign donated $500 to Rhonda Lennon's campaign on 10/9/13:

Thought this week would be a good time to review all the Candidate Profiles I filled out... Here's the first one from MeckEd. Please take a few minutes to review my thoughts.
